A little about ourselves
East Kilbride Dog Training Club is a dog training club specialising in reward based training.
We train dogs from puppies to competition level.
The Club works with the Kennel Club in promoting the general improvement of dogs and promotes the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.
This scheme is designed to help owners to train their dogs to be obedient in everyday situations. Training begins with the Puppy Foundation Award course, progressing to the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.
We occasionally accept handlers & their dogs into the Bronze & Onwards class, but only following assessment by our trainers.
We also have a successful competition class.
This class is for dog owners who wish to compete in Kennel Club obedience shows and the trai o g in this class is more specialised.

Pets n Vets,
St James Ave,
East Kilbride G74 5QD who is the on-call Practice for our annual Championship Obedience show. Practice vets & nurses from Pets n Vets come along to our Club to give talks on Dog related matters.
